Amazon is seeking an Investigation Associate with a background in transportation, risk management, and data-driven problem solving to investigate suspicious activity and address escalations while implementing long-term, systemic solutions for a superior customer experience. The role focuses on identity verification and fraud prevention within the Middle Mile Product & Technology organization. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, escalating issues, taking corrective actions to minimize risk, and contributing to ad-hoc projects. The position requires English fluency, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and nights.

Amazon is looking for an Investigation Associate that has a background in transportation, risk management and data driven problem resolution skills. In this role the Investigation Associate will continuously work with stakeholders to build trust-based relationships in order to investigate suspicious activity and address escalations while creating long-term, systemic solutions for a world-class customer experience. In this role, the Investigation Associate will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to identity verification.

Key job responsibilities
- Conduct investigations
- Take appropriate action to identify and help - minimize the risk posed by fraud or abuse patterns and trends
- Consistently achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets and quality standards for investigations
- Knowledge to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information
- Experience to follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as necessary

A day in the life
- Meet productivity, quality and other hygiene metrics/ goals
- Share inputs for SOP enhancements

Basic Qualifications

- 6 months to 1 year of experience -Speak, write, and read fluently ( English ) -Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications -Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
