Amazon Device Software & Services (DS2) owns the platform services layer for millions of consumer electronics, including Kindle and Echo devices. As a Principal TPM, you'll lead the Devices team's effort to expand and support new identity initiatives across a portfolio of consumer and enterprise products. You'll collaborate with product management, design, security, and privacy to design and deliver innovative identity solutions and drive the strategic implementation of new authorization technologies, such as passkeys and biometrics, across the device ecosystem. You will lead roadmap prioritization, cross-functional quality initiatives, and release coordination across DS2 and product lines like Echo, Fire TV, eReader, and Tablet.
As a Principal TPM, you'll lead the Devices team's effort to expand and support new identity initiatives across our portfolio of consumer and enterprise products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, security, and privacy, to design and deliver innovative solutions that enable the next generation of identity services. You'll drive the strategic implementation of new authorization technologies, such as passkeys and biometrics, across our device ecosystem.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams, leadership, product management, and UX to ensure we're building the best customer experience using innovative technologies.
- Serve as the identity point of contact (POC) for broader Devices organization mechanisms, such as Launch Readiness (LR) reviews, Deep Dives, and Risk Reviews.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across DS2 and product line partners (Echo, Fire TV, eReader, Tablet), including executive-level communications.
- Lead the roadmap prioritization process.
- Manage cross-functional quality initiatives.
- Establish and improve processes for managing complex, cross-functional programs and coordinating release schedules.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
