Leads a team of security domain experts across Identity, Data Protection, AI Security, and Network & Application Protection. Engages at the CXO/VP level to drive enterprise security transformations and designs scalable security solutions leveraging AWS services. Develops and deploys programs to scale security expertise globally within the AWS field, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive security service adoption and customer success, while nurturing partnerships with technology and consulting partners. Creates and delivers training, workshops, and prescriptive guidance to address customer security challenges.
This position is part of the Amazon Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Key job responsibilities
As Senior Manager of Security Specialist Solutions Architecture, you'll play a vital role in guiding innovative customers through complex security transformations, while embracing change and adapting to the fast-moving pace of technology and business.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of security domain experts across Identity, Data Protection, AI Security, and Network & Application Protection while ensuring team's professional growth.
- Leading the team in engaging at the CxO/VP level, as well as security architects and practitioners, to help customers achieve desired security outcomes- Guiding your team to design and implement enterprise-scale security solutions leveraging AWS services across identity, data protection, and network security domains.
- Leading technical strategy for complex security architectures
- Developing and deploying programs that scale security expertise and best practices across the global AWS field organization.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive security service adoption and customer success.
- Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with technology and consulting partners in the security ecosystem.
- Guiding your team to create and deliver training, workshops, and technical content on security best practices.
- Collaborating with Service and Technical teams to develop reference architectures, patterns, and prescriptive guidance that solve customer security challenges.
- Developing strong relationships with strategic security customers globally.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- 10+ years of technical specialist in customer-facing roles experience
- 5+ years of technical team management experience
- Experience with enterprise security architecture across identity, data protection, and network security
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).- Deep understanding of cloud security landscape, including identity and access management, data protection, threat detection and response, and network/application security.
- Experience with AI security, including securing AI workloads and defending against AI-enabled threats.
- Proven track record of building and scaling technical teams and programs.
- Experience working with security technology partners and building partner ecosystems.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
