Aviva is hunting for a Security Analyst to lead the charge in daily threat monitoring and analysis. You won’t just be watching alerts; you’ll be managing incidents, coordinating next steps, and collaborating with various Teams across the organization.
Why join us?
Ready to catapult your cybersecurity career? Join our high-octane Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), where no two days—and no two threats—are ever the same. We’re looking for a passionate SOC Analyst to join a world-class team defending our organization 24/7.
Global Collaboration: Partner daily with elite security pros across the globe, swapping insights and strategies in real-time.
In-House Power: We manage our security internally. Here, you aren't just a consultant; you have direct influence over our actual defense mechanisms.
Constant Evolution: Forget the routine. You’ll face complex, shifting challenges that keep your skills sharp.
Architect of Detection: Don't just follow rules—help create them. You’ll play an active role in fine-tuning detections and shaping how we respond to the world’s toughest threats.
What will you be doing?
Real-Time Defense: Monitoring IT security breaches within our 24/7 Global SOC (operating on 12h shifts).
Incident Command: Categorizing, prioritizing, and performing advanced analysis on detected threats.
Intelligence Gathering: Analyzing and interpreting key data for escalation to support lines, vendors, and business owners.
Threat Correlation: Connecting the dots between different cyber threats to see the bigger picture.
Strategy Optimization: Recommending improvements for correlation rules and fine-tuning our "radar."
Documentation Mastery: Drafting GSOC technical playbooks, response plans, and processes.
Subject Matter Expertise: Acting as a Consultant/SME for GSOC and Detection & Response projects.
Mentorship: Training staff on tools, technology, and their specific roles.
What we’re looking for:
Experience: At least 1 year as a SOC Analyst.
Communication: English at a B2/C1 level (written and spoken).
Framework Knowledge: Solid understanding of the NIST standard for incident management.
Autonomy: The ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
Technical Foundations: Strong grasp of networking (Protocols, ISO/OSI) and IT service operations (ITIL Foundation).
System Architecture: Knowledge of Windows, Linux, iOS, and Active Directory.
Threat Intel: Deep familiarity with modern cyber-attack techniques, the MITRE ATT&CK matrix, and the Cyber Kill Chain.
Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with DLP, EDR, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPS/IDS.
Proactive Mindset: A hunger for OSINT and the ability to turn technical data into clear, concise reports.
