We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Application Technology Audit to join our Internal Audit Department. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL or New York City, NY.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Conducts risk-focused audit fieldwork on technology and applications to identify risks and issues. Raises potential audit issues promptly and effectively communicates complex concepts.
  • Test various technical, financial and operational processes and conduct risk-focused audits, assessing residual risk levels. Analyzes control environments and develops audit steps as needed, completing assigned audit program sections.
  • Recognized as a reliable internal resource for creating clear documentation and completing tasks efficiently. Has foundational knowledge in data analytics, technology, regulations, and project management, integrating these into audit processes.
  • Build relationships with Audit Project Leaders and clients, handling information responsibly.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and analytical skills, contributing to innovative solutions for complex problems. Identifies inconsistencies in control environments and explores automation opportunities.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IT auditing or related risk management function.
  • Experience working on IT Audits and conducting audit fieldwork.
  • Understanding of IT general controls and technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, and Information Systems management.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,000 and $111,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
