Cyber Systems Integrator

The Opportunity: 

When our country’s cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough, we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support our nation's critical infrastructure, we need strategic policy development. That’s why we need you, system engineering specialist with the expertise required to guide a team analyzing the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and policy development specialist on our team, you’ll oversee staff working on the assessment of our client's current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll lead the team in the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work with the client to ensure they operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. 

Work with us as we secure our nation's critical infrastructure through strategic cyber policy assessment. 

What You’ll Work On:

  • Review technical write-ups and provide understanding of operation and mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including development, operations, and review and triage.

  • Create and optimize business process flows to improve efficiency, provide status, and enhance overall coordination across stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including vulnerability reports, process flows, and technical guides.

  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for implementation.

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to prioritize and implement process improvements.

  • Maintain a high-level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a systems engineering role, including software development and vulnerability research in cybersecurity

  • Experience working across multiple teams and clients to foster collaboration and drive results

  • Knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, and cyber operations

  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to create and optimize process flows

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail with accuracy and quality in all aspects of work

  • Possession of excellent critical thinking skills

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
