Cybersecurity Manager

The Opportunity:

Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming. In all of this “cyber noise,” how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you—a Cybersecurity Manager who will lead a team monitoring enterprise network infrastructure and systems, ensure compliance with internal and external policies, manage security tools, and maintain senior leader visibility of complex threats and related mitigation and manageable plans of action. 

As a Cybersecurity Manager on our team, you’ll use your experience to support the Army in developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies. In this role, you will conduct proactive security reviews of network diagrams, topologies, architecture diagrams, and associated Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts to identify vulnerabilities before implementation. You'll assess cyber risks, ensure compliance with applicable policies, and create mitigation plans. You’ll review technical documentation and artifacts to evaluate systems and networks document potential courses of action and submit findings to the appropriate stakeholders. Finally, you will guide clients through remediation plans by delivering clear recommendations through presentations, white papers, and milestone-driven action plans.  

You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts and develop technical briefs for senior leaders that can explain complex technical information concisely and accurately. You'll also collect information or intelligence necessary to conduct the full scope of your responsibilities as a cybersecurity subject matter expert.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience managing cybersecurity compliance for a DoD agency, including securing IT systems and services using government and industry cybersecurity standards, policies, guidelines, and best practices 

  • 5+ years of experience successfully managing information security risks, including completing the entire Assessment and Authorization process

  • 5+ years of experience with federal governance, risk, and compliance management

  • 5+ years of experience managing a Security Operations Center and leading a security operations staff, including a 90+ person project environment

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business 

  • ITIL® 4 Foundation Managing Professional Framework Certification

  • DoDM 8140.03 DCWF 462 Advanced Level Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
