The Opportunity:

As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for a data architect like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions.  

As a data architect on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams, working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development, and analyzing data architecture-related business needs.

With your motivation to establish processes and facilitate technological innovation, you’ll make a lasting impact on our data architectures and solutions.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect

  • Experience coding with Java or Python

  • Experience working with agency departments, DoD-wide stakeholders, subcontractors, external vendors, and service providers to ensure optimal performance and uptime of mission-critical systems

  • Knowledge of GitHub or GitLab with semantic version control, as well as IaC and infrastructure automation with Terraform or Ansible

  • Knowledge of DoD networks and organizations

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and workflows to build pipelines, as well as containerized deployments and orchestration

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 9 months of start date

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience supporting Coalition or Mission partners and combatant commands during the planning and execution of operations and exercises

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines

  • Experience with Java or Python

  • Experience using GitHub or GitLab with semantic version control

  • Experience in IaC and infrastructure automation with Terraform or Ansible

  • Top Secret clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
