The Opportunity: 

Serve for long-range strike capabilities, mission planning requirements, and cross-domain kill chain modernization efforts. Ensure operational warfighting needs are effectively represented for long-range precision fires, and provide subject matter expertise on employment, capability development, and system-of-systems integration. Lead efforts to integrate long-range fires into multi-domain kill chain concepts, operational plans, and future force design. Coordinate with various mission partners to synchronize delivery of long-range strike capability across platforms, sensors, command and control, and targeting processes. Provide technical and operational analysis to serve as a program office subject-matter expert for weapons and integration across Combat Air Forces platforms. Review and coordinate weapon integration roadmaps, sustainment challenges, and mission planning system development. Deliver system-of-systems assessments of kill chain effectiveness, long-range strike employment concepts to support modeling and simulation, and operational analysis events to evaluate Long-Range Kill Chain (LRKC) performance in future combat scenarios. Provide recommendations to senior leaders on investment priorities, risk areas, and opportunities to enhance long-range strike effectiveness. Liaise with Air Staff, other MAJCOMs, Combatant Commands, and Joint program offices to synchronize long-range strike capability development. Coordinate with intelligence, cyber, electronic warfare, and command and control communities to ensure LRKC solutions align with broader joint kill chain requirements. Guide teams as they solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe.

You Have:

  • Experience in USAF operational planning, long-range strike, targeting, or weapons employment
  • Experience with kill chain concepts and multi-domain operations
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders
  • Knowledge of standoff munitions employment, integration, or program management
  • Ability to translate operational needs into formal requirements and coordinate across multiple organizations
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience at the MAJCOM or Air Staff level
  • Experience in advanced weapons integration, program management, acquisition, or system-of-systems planning
  • Experience with CAF platforms that employ related standoff weapons
  • Possession of excellent communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
