Security System Administrator

The Opportunity:

Serve as a key member of the Security Tools and Infrastructure Management team. Architect, administer, and optimize enterprise‑grade cybersecurity platforms with a primary focus on RSA Archer, security analytics tooling, and supporting infrastructure. Ensure the effective operation, integration, and enhancement of security systems across Windows and Linux environments, both on-premises and hosted in AWS.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with information security in cybersecurity, system engineering, or system administration

  • Experience managing and administering Windows or Linux servers in production on-premises or AWS environments

  • Experience with system configuration, workflow management, and integration

  • Experience performing server maintenance, patching, configuration management, or system hardening

  • Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance security operations

  • Ability to document architecture, changes, and operational procedures

  • Ability to support 24x7x365 on-call rotation for responding to critical system outages

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or an IT field

  • CISSP or CISM Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience architecting or supporting Archer GRC solutions, including application configuration, data integrations, and workflow optimization

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools

  • Knowledge of identity and access management, secure configuration baselines, and infrastructure best practices

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
