Job Description

Job Number:
R0233201
Location:
Aurora,CO,US
Systems Integration Engineer

The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable agencies to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need a configuration and data manager like you who knows how to develop the exact system needs.

As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will support the team in a role similar to an Infrastructure Engineer. You’ll use your skills in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, and network transport layers to help support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

You’ll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, and network transport layers as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Space Force evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in cryptography, key management, and software and hardware firewalls, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

Grow your career with us as we help the Space Force develop our most critical space sensing systems.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

  • Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and verification
  • Ability to analyze complex projects and identify their impact on interdependent enterprise systems
  • Ability to identify all impacted stakeholders and systems, mapping out project dependencies
  • Ability to develop and maintain processes and procedurals to support project integrations, project deployments, and project closeouts
  • TS/SCI clearance
