YOUR ROLE
- Lead security governance activities: define, maintain, and report on security policies, standards, and procedures across the client environment.
- Own the risk management cycle: perform risk assessments, track remediation, and present risk posture and KPIs to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate security operations with service providers: incident handling, threat monitoring, and post-incident reviews (lessons learned, corrective actions).
- Drive compliance initiatives: ensure adherence to GDPR, GxP, and relevant EU/Belgian regulations; support audits and certification programs (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001).
- Advise on security-by-design for projects and changes: review architectures, perform security impact assessments, and approve/guide mitigations.
- Develop and maintain security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting; communicate clearly to business and technical audiences.
- Mentor team members; foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement across Transformation & Run teams.
YOUR PROFILE
- 7+ years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years in a senior security/governance role within large enterprise environments.
- Demonstrable experience with risk management, policy frameworks, and audit/compliance (GDPR, GxP, ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2).
- Hands-on understanding of SOC processes, incident response, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
- Ability to produce clear security guidance, reports, and executive presentations; strong stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership and influence across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) with the ability to simplify complex topics.
