Join CrowdStrike's Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) team as an SDET focusing on designing and implementing core testing infrastructure for a large-scale cloud security product. You will build scalable, reusable testing solutions with clear APIs, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and explore AI-powered testing approaches to boost efficiency. About the Role:
The Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) team at CrowdStrike is responsible for developing and maintaining solutions that help organizations secure their multi-cloud environments through comprehensive identity and access management capabilities.
The team's work is critical in helping organizations prevent identity-based attacks in cloud environments while maintaining operational efficiency and reducing security team workloads.
We are looking for a technical, hands-on SDET who will focus on designing and implementing core testing infrastructure while leveraging AI capabilities to enhance testing efficiency.
You will play a key role in creating scalable testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our large-scale CIEM cloud security product. Location: Hybrid position - Bucharest
What You'll Do:
Design and implement core testing infrastructure and frameworks that development teams will build upon
Create scalable and reusable testing solutions with clear APIs and documentation
Develop CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
Implement AI-powered test generation and optimization solutions
Build monitoring, analytics, and reporting systems for test execution
Establish testing standards and best practices
Develop utilities and helper functions for common testing scenarios
Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions for testing infrastructure
What You'll Need:
At least 1 years of programming experience as an SDET/Automation or Software Engineer
Proficiency in at least one programming language e.g. Go, Java, Python
Experience with at least 1 major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Solid understanding of testing methodologies and framework architecture
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Self-motivated and independent worker
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Experience in Agile workflow methodology
Experience building scalable testing frameworks
Bonus Points:
Big Data experience - Spark, Flink, Iceberg
DevOps experience
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Kafka
Understanding of AI/ML principles and applications in testing
Practical experience in networking/security
Data analysis and visualization skills
Experience with test coverage optimization techniques
