Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead for the DLM Team, operating within Chief Security Office (CSO) – Information Security Threat Operations (ISTO), to mature, lead and improve our data leakage monitoring capabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing strategies, and processes to proactively identify, prevent, and respond to unauthorized disclosure or exfiltration of sensitive organizational data.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Data Leakage Incident Response ensuring adequate operational coverage and meeting required KPIs.
  • Oversee ticket quality ensuring agreed documentation standards are met, and provide quality and timely reporting and audit support.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across DLM processes.
  • Provide expert guidance during security incidents involving data exfiltration and ensure timely escalation for critical delays during incidents.
  • Manage, and mentor a team of security analysts focused on data leakage monitoring.

Skills

  • 5+ years in Information Security or Cyber Security background, ideally in Banking industry. 2+ years as a team lead ideally on global teams.
  • Experienced with SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel) and DLP (Symantec) tools.
  • Good understanding of data security principles and basic knowledge on data privacy regulations (GDPR) and industry standards (ISO 27001 and NIST) and frameworks (MITTRE).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks, managing multiple projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication (English) and interpersonal skills, confident assuming timely decisions.
  • Always a plus: CISSP, CISM, GCIH/GIAC, CompTIA Security+ or other relevant certifications in the field.
