Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Lead for our global Insider Risk Management team within the Chief Security Office (CSO). The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a team of specialists dedicated to preventing, detecting, and responding to insider threats across the organization.

This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, information security best practices, and hands-on experience with leading insider risk management technologies. You will play a pivotal role in protecting Deutsche Bank's sensitive data and intellectual property.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Insider Risk Management (IRM) analysts and specialists.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and continuous improvement of DB Insider Risk Management (IRM) program. Assist in defining policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee IRM monitoring, provide team guidance and coordinate response jointly with other Cyber Incident Response teams or different stakeholders across the Bank.
  • Develop and present regular reports on insider risk posture, key metrics, and incident trends to senior management, as well as audit.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of insider risk incidents, procedures, and program configurations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest insider threat landscapes, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to tools, processes, and methodologies.

Skills

  • Proven track record in cybersecurity and information security, with a good understanding of threat landscapes, attack vectors, defense strategies and MITTRE attack framework.
  • Experienced with Splunk, Sentinel, Purview or similar tools, and reasonable understanding on User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA).
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, confident assuming rapid decisions and experienced on stakeholder’s management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns indicative of insider threats, as well as prioritizing against multiple project initiatives.
  • Always a plus: CISSP, CISM, GCIH/GIAC, CompTIA Security+ or other relevant certifications in the field. Good understanding of data privacy regulations and information security best practices / standards (GDPR, DORA, NIST, ISO27001).
