- The Chief Security Office (CSO) comprises the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and the Corporate Security unit. The CISO organization guarantees information security for Deutsche Bank.
- Deutsche Bank is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of solution across the Insider Risk Management (IRM) and Ops tools. This is a strategic role focussed on shaping the strategy, ensuring thread-safe, scalable, and centralised model implementations that support our wider technological goals. The role is responsible for designing, governing, and operationalising a compliant, risk‑based insider‑risk capability that integrates people, process, and technology—while balancing security effectiveness with employee privacy and regulatory obligations.

Your key responsibilities
- Understands the organisation’s specific security requirements and risk landscape to determine the appropriate IRM solution integrations and the required configuration.
- Defining the overall technical and functional architecture of the insider risk capability, covering detection, monitoring, investigation, and integration with the wider security ecosystem.
- Responsible for providing technical leadership during design and implementation, focussing on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Translate business, risk, legal, and compliance requirements into technical designs
- Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and potential threats, and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Create Architecture Artifacts describing HLD and LLD setup and maintain existing ones.
- Drive the Architecture, design aspects and represent the team for Solution Design Architecture reviews in various forums and receive approvals at various levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including various technical, non-technical functions in the Bank to define a comprehensive and effective IRM strategy.
Your skills and experience
- 5-8 years of security engineering experience with risk management frameworks and security operations workflows
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities is essential.
- Expertise in data analysis techniques, data visualization, and reporting is crucial
- Experience in delivering secure, scalable, and reusable architectures across complex environments
- Understanding of security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate with numerous teams and internal customers
- Experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, GSEC, CIPP/E are highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge across various security domains including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Cloud Security, and Network Security
