Role Description
- The role holder will support the modernization of Deutsche Bank’s privileged access management (“neo-PAM”). PAM is a foundational cyber security control, governing access to the Bank’s most critical applications and infrastructure.
- The neo-PAM initiative defines a new PAM operating model aligned with DB control definitions, regulatory expectations, and industry standards. Given the risk profile of privileged access, robust and future-proof process and control design is critical to DB’s security posture and audit defensibility.
- The role holder will act as design authority for future proof PAM control processes, working closely with the PAM Control Owner and neo-PAM leadership to ensure accelerated delivery is matched with sustainable, regulatorily sound outcomes.

Your key responsibilities
- define future-proof privileged access management (PAM) control processes
- review and revise articulation and logical structure of current privileged access management controls, aligned with DB’s PAM modernization approach and further frameworks
- ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies
- identify PAM control weaknesses and contribute to remediation
- support (cyber security) control framework initiatives and taking over control design owner / control design owner delegate roles, where appropriate/required
- close collaboration with stakeholders / presentations
Your skills and experience
The role requires
- deep expertise across PAM, endpoint privilege management (EPM), identity & access management (IAM) and related cyber security domains,
- knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms (DB’s environment is highly complex, spanning various platforms, including mainframes, databases, and SaaS solutions),
- excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and DB’s / financial industry information security control frameworks,
- ability to shape and own future PAM control design,
- ability to resolve cross functional issues across TDI, central security, and audit,
- ability to represent and defend DB’s PAM modernization approach in senior governance forums,
- being a self-starter, quick learner and team player.
