Position Overview
Details of the Division and Team:
A person who will be the local representative of TDI organization oversees the local branch technology team in providing multiple aspects of onshore technology services covering application support, infrastructure, end-user technologies, and cybersecurity whilst maintaining strong control over risk and regulatory portfolio and financial performance of the department.

Your key responsibilities:
Strategic Vision:
Be accountable for the provision of TDI technology roadmap and strategy in DB Thailand within agreed timeline and budget.
Partnering with local stakeholders to align the business strategy and growth plan with available Technology services.
Alignment with local regulators and other applicable Self-Regulated Organizations to anticipate any new regulations and its impacts to DB Thailand.
Infrastructure & Operations:
Ensure the stability of technology availability covering local infrastructure, network, applications, and End-User experience are in-line with TDI latest risk and control standards.
Capacity and life-cycle monitoring for all IT assets including budget planning for tech-refresh and decommissioning.
Manager and leadership:
Inspire, supervise, and oversee the development of Thailand Branch Technology team.
Setting the SMART priorities (goals and objectives) for each Thailand Branch Technology team member.
Actively contribute and participate in APAC BT community as well as with local stakeholders through local forum i.e., exco, OOF, IT Steering Committee, outsourcing committee, etc.
Ensure all team members complete their mandatory and/or certification training.
Vendor & Partner Management:
Ensure all local Technology 3rd party vendors are onboarded to DB Group Third Party Risk Management system and complete all regular assessment timely.
Manage invoices from local technology vendors to ensure costs are aligned with budget. Any ad-hoc or anomaly cost is to be coordinated with BT group COO-Finance.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
Partner with the CISO to enforce Zero-Trust models and ensure compliance with standards from DB Group, international bodies, and local banking regulations.
Develop, maintain, and test robust Disaster Recover (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Your skills and experience:
Education: Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or MBA with a focus on Tech Management.
Certification: All applicable IT & Risk Management certification from Thailand regulator.
Language: English; Speak / Write Fluently.
Professional Experience:
Tenure: 15+ years in IT, with at least 5–8 years in a senior leadership role (VP, CTO, or Head of IT) specifically within the Banking or Financial Services sector, and preferably international institutions.
Exposure to multiple teams in separate locations / countries.
A solid understanding of technology in an enterprise context, spanning; infrastructure, end user and application services, cloud hosting, and AI.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders from both business and regional/global technology functions.
Manage teams; develop and build high performing teams.
IT Strategy and current industry trends.
Software delivery practices.
Data Management
Solid knowledge of Thailand banking regulations with respect to IT Services
Exposure to Thailand banking IT forums
IT Change and Transformation delivery
IT service management
Operational Risk Management and Cyber-Threats.
