Lead Security Tools Engineer on the Security Solutions team responsible for technical management and operation of security tooling across the organization. You will design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale tools and integrations (EDR, firewalls, cloud security posture management) to support security and ITSM processes; act as technical escalation point and lead root-cause analysis for systemic failures. You will monitor tool health, automate repetitive tasks, evaluate and integrate new tools, document configurations, and contribute to long-term tooling roadmap. This is a hybrid role reporting to the Director, Identity & Access Management and Security Solutions.

What you'll do As a Lead Security Tools Engineer on the Security Solutions team, you will oversee the technical management and operation of security solutions by designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale tools and platforms that support various internal teams in security as well as ITSM processes. This technical position is responsible for ensuring the stability, efficiency, and full operational capability of solutions that enable effective monitoring, assurance, and response across the organization. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to deliver and maintain scalable and impactful security platforms. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Identity & Access Management and Security Solutions. Responsibility Implement and lead the optimization of enterprise security tools (e.g., EDR, firewalls, cloud security posture management) to support internal security teams Design and execute complex, robust integrations between security tools and other IT or security platforms to enhance detection and response capabilities Serve as a technical escalation point for complex, cross-functional security tooling issues and lead technical resolution and root cause analysis for systemic failures Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of security tools Monitor tool health, coverage, and effectiveness; generate and analyze reports to identify gaps or areas for improvement Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting or orchestration tools to improve efficiency and consistency Lead the evaluation, testing, and integration of new security tools and technologies as business needs evolve Develop and maintain documentation for tool configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for security tools across various security domains, providing technical guidance and support to internal security teams and stakeholders Contribute to the long-term security tooling roadmap for the Security Solutions team, focusing on technical feasibility, lifecycle management, and process efficiency Mentor and support the development of team members Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. What you bring Basic Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience 12+ years of cybersecurity or IT experience, with 8+ years focused on the design, deployment, and operation of enterprise security tooling Experience across multiple security domains (e.g., Endpoint, Identity), with a track record of applying cross-domain knowledge to engineer and manage security solutions. Experience with coding for tool integration and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Go, or similar), including experience with APIs, scripting, and workflow automation Experience enabling security policy and risk reduction through the technical implementation and optimization of security tooling Experience working within ITSM ecosystems (such as ServiceNow or equivalent) and a solid grasp of ITSM principles Preferred Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of working both independently and collaboratively with subject matter experts Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience deploying and managing enterprise security solutions across various domains (e.g., Endpoint, Data Security) at scale Experience managing vendor relationships and engagements for security tooling Experience integrating security tools with SIEM, SOAR, or ITSM platforms Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to
