As a Security Engineer on DocuSign's Cloud & Infrastructure Security team, you will design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale security tools and platforms to support security and ITSM processes. What you'll do As a Security Engineer on the Cloud & Infrastructure Security team, you will support the strategy and execute on defined projects to advance our security posture by designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale tools and platforms that support our security and ITSM processes. This technical position is responsible for engineering robust solutions that enable effective monitoring, assurance, and response across the organization. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to lead the delivery of scalable and impactful security platforms. Reporting and IC/PM This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Cloud & Infrastructure Security. Responsibility Architect, implement, and lead the optimization of enterprise endpoint security tools (e.g., EDR, antivirus, device control) Design and execute complex, robust integrations between endpoint telemetry and SASE components ( Secure Web Gateway, CASB, ZTNA) to create a unified security posture Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security tool deployment, configuration, and ongoing performance Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of security tools Monitor tool health, coverage, and effectiveness and generate and analyze reports to identify gaps or areas for improvement. Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting or orchestration tools to improve efficiency and consistency Participate in the evaluation, testing, and integration of new security tools, and technologies as business needs evolve Develop and maintain documentation for tool configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for endpoint and network security tools, providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders Contribute to the execution of a long-term endpoint security strategy, including tool selection, technical guidance, lifecycle management, and process improvements Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. What you bring Basic Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of experience in security engineering, IT security, or a closely related technical discipline Expereince in one or more security domains, such as network security, endpoint security, configuration compliance, SIEM/SOAR, or ITSM integrations Experience with coding for tool integration and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar), including experience with APIs, scripting, and workflow automation Strong understanding of security assurance, risk management concepts, and industry best practices Experience working within ITSM ecosystems (such as ServiceNow or equivalent) and a solid grasp of ITSM principles Preferred Experience deploying and managing enterprise endpoint, network security platforms including SASE solutions at scale Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of working both independently and collaboratively with subject matter experts Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience integrating security tools with SIEM, SOAR, or ITSM platforms Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for security automation Advanced troubleshooting skills in complex, distributed environments Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
