This role will play a pivotal part in enabling that vision by leading mission-critical IT functions and teams.

Position Overview

This leadership role provides strategic direction and oversees a high-performing team of technical professionals responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, and monitoring of software and technology solutions. The role acts as a subject matter expert, driving product implementation, evaluating IT vendor solutions, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. It also encompasses end-to-end program management responsibilities, from planning through execution and delivery.

The role will also lead cross-functional teams, reinforce cybersecurity practices, manage vendor partnerships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of technical staff; provide coaching, performance evaluation, and career development support.
  • Make strategic hiring and compensation decisions in alignment with EY's HR policies.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation and accountability.

Strategic IT Planning & Execution

  • Own the full lifecycle of software delivery for business-critical products, including vendor selection and system implementation.
  • Translate business needs into executable project roadmaps and technical specifications.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term department goals that align with overall business strategy.

Operations & Delivery Oversight

  • Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, allocate resources efficiently, and manage budgets for optimal outcomes.
  • Track key performance metrics and implement continuous improvements in service delivery and operational processes.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Integrate cybersecurity best practices into project frameworks to safeguard enterprise data and infrastructure.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Maintain strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to drive collaboration and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Provide regular project updates and strategic insights to senior leadership and relevant governance bodies.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage third-party service providers and technology vendors, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Lead build-versus-buy assessments and develop integration strategies for new technologies.

Innovation & Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve IT policies, tools, and delivery models.
  • Drive quality initiatives and lead innovation to increase service excellence and business value.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with IT governance, data privacy, and information security policies.

Participate in audits, special projects, and other assigned initiatives as required
