Fortinet is seeking a Major Account Manager for the Public Sector in Belgium to drive new business pitches, build long-term relationships, and negotiate terms for enterprise-wide Fortinet deployments. The role focuses on onboarding new clients, growing and developing existing accounts, and generating a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasts. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work, and travel throughout the territory as needed.

As a Major Account Manager - Public Sector, you will:
- Play an integral role in new business pitches, foster long-term relationships, act as a catalyst in negotiating business terms to achieve enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions and deliver meaningful results for all parties involved.
- Effectively on-board new clients and proactively focus on growing and developing existing accounts.
- Generate a robust sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work that reflect our commitment to excellence.
- Travel throughout the territory to support the needs of the business.
We Are Looking For:

- Fully qualified, experienced sales professional that is forward thinking and has a professional understanding of the technology business sector.
- Minimum of 5+ years prior sales experience in Public Sector.
- Previous experience designing business plans and market strategies to increase sales.
- Proven ability to sell solutions.
- A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
- Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
- Excellent communication skills in English and French. Dutch is a plus.
- A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
- Results-orientated, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality.
- Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Previous experience in network security. Knowledgeable in the following technologies VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.
