Lead direct sales engagements with Fortinet's Strategic Hyperscaler accounts, leveraging established hyperscaler relationships to drive enterprise-wide deployments. Develop and execute strategic account plans, build executive relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver winning bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work. Drive the sales cycle to closure for large deals, with a focus on achieving quarterly sales goals and expanding the opportunity pipeline.

Location: Seattle, WA, United States

In this high-impact, high-visibility role, you will manage and drive direct sales engagements into the Strategic Hyperscaler business. Leveraging your existing deep hyperscaler relationships, your focus will be to create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. Develop and expand executive relationships with key buyers and influencers and leverage these during the sales process. Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.

 

Reports to VP Strategic Partnerships.

 

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Developing and expanding long-term, trusted customer relationships
  • Generating enterprise business opportunities and managing the sales process through to closure of the sale. 
  • Achievement of agreed quarterly sales goals. 
  • Generating a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecasting pipeline.

 

 

Required Skills

 

 

  • Minimum 7+ years sales experience selling to Hyperscaler (Cloud) accounts.
  • Minimum 5-7 years selling complex enterprise technology solutions (software, infrastructure, security).
  • Demonstrated success selling into the Hyperscaler accounts.
  • Demonstrated pre-existing relationships within the Hyperscaler accounts
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability 
  • Experience in closing large 7 and 8 figure deals.
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality.

 

 

Education

  • BS or equivalent experience, graduate degree preferred

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. On target earnings for this position is expected to be $220,000-$280,0000 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

 

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, and this position is also eligible for commissions based on the terms of the Sales Compensation Plan
