Provide remote and onsite technical consulting for Fortinet solutions, translating business requirements into secure, scalable architectures aligned with enterprise principles. Develop solution designs, transition and delivery strategies; review and test existing systems; produce technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer to customer teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet security, networking, and performance goals; educate customers on best practices for configuring and operating Fortinet solutions. This LATAM-focused role is largely remote with occasional on-site visits, flexible hours to accommodate customer time zones.

Skills & Qualifications

· Solid technical expertise in system architecture and design.

· Ability to study and solve complex technical challenges.

· Detail-oriented with a structured approach to problem solving.

· Strong customer-facing presence, professionalism, and consulting mindset

· Well-developed and effective communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities effectively.

· Familiarity with cybersecurity hardware, systems and infrastructure.

· Solid understanding of general security and networking principles and technologies such as: Cloud Security, Web App Security, Email Security, Network Security, LAN/WAN/WLAN, Identity Services, Endpoint Security, IoT Security.

· Relevant industry experience in NGFW and at least 4 of the following technologies: Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Network Security Management, SIEM, Network Virtualization, Software Defined Networks (SDN), and/or other cloud-based technologies.

· Experience in developing SOWs, LLD HLDs.

· Proven experience as a Professional Services Architect, Consultant or Pre-Sales Engineer.

· Relevant networking and/or security certifications such as NSE, CISSP, GIAC, CCNP, CCIE, CCFA, or equivalent are a plus

· Ability to flex working hours to accommodate customer time zones.

· Bachelor's / University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

· Experience implementing, supporting and operating Fortinet products is a strong plus.

· Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.

Job Duties

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical constraints during solution, transitional and delivery phases.

· Provide remote and onsite technical consulting expertise in the development of the solution, transition, and delivery strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

· Test existing systems and processes, identifying technical requirements and potential challenges during both transition and delivery.

· Support the design and architect solutions, considering scalability, security, and efficiency.

· Work closely with project teams to ensure the implementation of the solutions aligns with the overall strategy.

· Conduct reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with architecture principles and best practices.

· Provide guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of solutions.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies

· Educate customers on best practices for configuring, monitoring and operating Fortinet solutions.

· Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including design summaries, configuration details, and as-built documentation.

· Perform knowledge transfer sessions to customer technical teams to ensure operational readiness.

The successful candidate will primarily work from home but must be available to go on-site with clients when needed.
