Regional Sales Manager (Unified SASE, SD-WAN & DLP)

About the Role

Fortinet is seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager – Business Development to accelerate growth for our Unified SASE, SD-WAN, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) portfolio across North & East India.

This role is focused on new business generation, market expansion, and strategic account acquisition. The ideal candidate will act as a regional growth catalyst — identifying emerging opportunities, evangelizing Fortinet’s Unified Security approach, and influencing customers to adopt modern, secure access architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development Ownership: Drive new business for Fortinet’s Unified SASE, SD-WAN, and DLP offerings in the North & East region — with a focus on new logo acquisition and white-space expansion.
  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute territory growth plans aligned with Fortinet’s Unified SASE strategy. Identify emerging market segments and new vertical opportunities.
  • Solution Evangelism: Position Fortinet’s Unified SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, and DLP capabilities as enablers of secure digital transformation and hybrid workforce security.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with CXOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and Network Leaders to shape security and connectivity modernization roadmaps.
  • Pipeline Generation: Work closely with field sales, marketing, and channel teams to generate high-quality leads and convert them into qualified opportunities.
  • Channel Enablement: Collaborate with partners, distributors, and MSSPs to build joint business plans and drive awareness, enablement, and pipeline acceleration.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Pre-Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to tailor value propositions and proof-of-concept engagements for enterprise customers.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitive dynamics (Zscaler, Palo Alto, Netskope, Cisco, etc.) and provide actionable insights to refine Fortinet’s go-to-market execution.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in enterprise or business development roles within networking, cybersecurity, or cloud security domains.
  • Proven success in driving new logo wins for solutions such as SASE, SD-WAN, DLP, SWG and ZTNA.
  • Strong customer network across North & East India — especially in Enterprise, BFSI, Manufacturing, IT/ITeS, and Government sectors.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust, data protection, and secure connectivity concepts.
  • Exceptional consultative selling and presentation skills at CXO level.
  • Experience in concept/solution selling and value-based discussions around ROI and business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; MBA preferred
