Systems Engineer – UK (Service Provider / MSSP)

We are expanding our UK Systems Engineering organisation and hiring across the country to support our Service Provider and MSSP customers. This includes national carriers, regional service providers, managed security service providers, and organisations delivering security services at scale. Our roles span specialisms including carrier-grade networking, cloud security, SASE, SD-WAN, SOC technologies, and broader cybersecurity architecture. We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the customers and partners we support.

As a Systems Engineer at Fortinet, you will be a trusted technical advisor to our service provider and MSSP partners, working closely with account teams to drive adoption of Fortinet’s industry-leading security solutions. You will play a key role throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and design to proof-of-concept and deployment, helping customers deliver secure, scalable services to their end clients.

What You Will Do

• Lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, presentations, and PoCs

• Translate service provider and MSSP requirements into effective Fortinet architectures

• Deliver product demonstrations, architecture workshops, and whiteboarding sessions tailored to multi-tenant and high-scale environments

• Work cross-functionally with partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery

• Maintain deep expertise across Fortinet’s portfolio, industry trends, and emerging threats

• Support RFI and RFP responses and ensure accurate documentation in Salesforce

• Act as a technical mentor and knowledge resource for partners and colleagues

What We Are Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have:

• Experience in a pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing technical role essential

• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC tools, and Cloud

• Experience working with service providers, MSSPs, or large-scale multi-tenant environments (preferred)

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers and partners

• Industry certifications such as NSE, CISSP, or CCNP (a plus)
