Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Establish deep, trusted relationships with SOC managers, CISOs, and blue team leads.
- Understand customer-specific SecOPS objectives and deliver strategic guidance aligned to them.
- Lead regular technical reviews and roadmap sessions focused on security maturity progression.
Technical Support and Escalation
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers leveraging Fortinet’s FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR, FortiAnalyzer, and EDR/XDR platforms.
- Act as a Tier-3 resource for complex issues involving security event correlation, performance tuning of SIEMs, SOAR playbook failures, log parsing, or analytics.
- Collaborate with Fortinet Engineering to resolve product issues and influence roadmap decisions.
Proactive Engagement- Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement within the client’s current setup or usage of products and services.
- Provide clients with strategic recommendations based on their usage patterns and industry trends to help them achieve their long-term goals.
- Educate clients on best practices, new features, and potential improvements to enhance their experience and maximize the value they receive from the product.
- Help customers to enhance their technical skills by provide customised targeted training on Fortinet products and solutions
- Conduct weekly status conference calls with customers to report status of open issues and projects. Assess satisfaction, performance, and opportunities for further engagement or improvement.
- Develop best practice deployment and troubleshooting methodology documentation to help customers.
Enablement and Thought Leadership- Deliver targeted enablement on Fortinet’s SecOPS tools to customer teams through demos, workshops, and walkthroughs.
- Create reusable documentation, quick-start guides, and tuning best practices.
- Represent customer voice for SecOPS enhancements internally to Fortinet’s product and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in Security Operations, SOC engineering, detection engineering, incident response, SIEM/SOAR engineering, or a customer-facing SecOps role.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of: SIEM, SOAR, XDR/EDR, SASE, WAF.
- Strong fundamentals in networking and security (TCP/IP, DNS, routing basics, firewall/VPN, authentication).
- Strong troubleshooting skills: log analysis, structured root cause analysis, and clear technical writing.
- Comfortable presenting technical content to technical and semi-technical audiences.
- Scripting/automation comfort: Python/PowerShell/Perl, regex, REST APIs, basic integration patterns.
- Proficiency in core Linux concepts is essential.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL/NoSQL) for troubleshooting is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (Fortinet FCSS SecOps track, Splunk ES/SOAR, XSOAR, Google SecOps, GCIH/GCIA), are a plus.
- Strong experience with at least one major Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, Openstack).

- 8+ years in Security Operations, SOC engineering, detection engineering, incident response, SIEM/SOAR engineering, or a customer-facing SecOps role.Hands-on experience with at least two of: SIEM, SOAR, XDR/EDR, SASE, WAF.Strong fundamentals in networking and security (TCP/IP, DNS, routing basics, firewall/VPN, authentication).Strong troubleshooting skills: log analysis, structured root cause analysis, and clear technical writing.Comfortable presenting technical content to technical and semi-technical audiences.Scripting/automation comfort: Python/PowerShell/Perl, regex, REST APIs, basic integration patterns.Proficiency in core Linux concepts is essential.Familiarity with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL/NoSQL) for troubleshooting is a plus.Relevant certifications (Fortinet FCSS SecOps track, Splunk ES/SOAR, XSOAR, Google SecOps, GCIH/GCIA), are a plus.Strong experience with at least one major Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, Openstack).
