Join Fortinet's Test Engineering Team in Union City, CA to support testing of cyber security and network products. You will inspect Fortinet products (IQC), assemble/disassemble hardware, upgrade or downgrade software/firmware, and modify test scripts as specifications change. The role involves preparing technical reports, summarizing testing findings, and lifting up to 40-50 lbs in a warehouse environment while leveraging scripting skills (Python, TCL, Perl, Shell, PHP) and related databases. New graduates with engineering or computer science degrees are welcome.
Location: Union City, CA, United States
Will support Test Engineering Team in support of Fortinet’s Cyber Security and network products.
• Performing Fortinet product inspection , Mainly in IQC department.
• Based on working instruction to complete jobs.
• Need assembling/disassembling systems for working purpose. Better ability to solder circuit boards.
• Upgrading or downgrading software or firmware per instructions.
• Modifying test scripts per specifications changes.
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and may recommend solutions to technical problems.
• Summarizing testing reports and problems finding in writing.
Qualification:
• Experience in testing
• Experience/Knowledge with scripting ( Python/TCL/ Perl / Shell / PHP ) and database is a plus
• Degree or Pursuit of Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field , new graduate with AA /Bachelor’s degree also consider
• Be able to lift 40 lbs
