The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement and support global network solutions, driving scalability, security and resilience across the enterprise. Job Description:

The primary role for this position is to be responsible for the evaluation, design, planning, implementation and support of Network related solutions with a global scope. You will be joining an international team of Network Engineers, contributing to the continuous optimization of our IT infrastructure services.

Main Responsibilities
• Architect and oversee the global network infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience
• Lead enterprise-wide network transformation initiatives (e.g., SD-WAN, cloud networking, zero-trust architecture)
• Serve as the highest escalation point for complex network incidents and performance issues
• Define and enforce global network standards, policies, and best practices
• Collaborate with senior IT leadership to align network capabilities with business goals
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements
• Represent the network engineering function in audits, vendor negotiations, and executive briefings
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and leading proof-of-concept initiatives

Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience
• At least 10 years of experience in a network engineer position

Skills
• Wide understanding of global corporate technologies: Network Protocols (STP, ARP, DHCP, DNS and DNS management, IPSec); Geo-location technologies; Switching; Routing and Routers technologies (Peplinks); Web Proxy management; Fortinet firewalls; SSLVPN remote gateway technologies; WAN optimization; Load Balancers; Wifi Technologies
• Knowledge in the following technologies is a plus: Cisco VoIP, Cisco Nexus vPC, Microsoft Azure, SDWan
• Previous working experience as a network specialist from an international company
• Global projects management experience
• Good time management skills
• Fluent English language skills, any other language is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Team player with sense of urgency and respect of deadlines
• Process oriented person
