Senior information security and data management leader responsible for driving risk and control solutions across IT environments. Partner with business stakeholders to design best-practice controls, lead risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, and manage information security domains including IAM, incident management, and data protection. Provide executive-level reporting, project management support, and collaborate across teams to deliver process improvements and remediation plans. Serve as an owner for security policies, compliance, and resiliency efforts while mentoring and coordinating cross-functional work.

Our VP Data Management/Information Owner professional is passionate about information security and risk/control solutions for computing environments. Support business operations by partnering with the business to create best practice solutions and drive process and control enhancements, providing expertise in risk/controls and the development of corrective action plans. As a Data Management Lead, you will leverage your expert knowledge of today's ever-changing cybersecurity and risk landscape to influence IT operations across the firm. Responsibilities include offering guidance, best practices, and support across businesses, leading risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats and communicating with senior leaders and other stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage expertise in multiple IT control and project management practices to support initiatives across large environments
  • Manage information security domains, including policies and standards, risk and control assessments, access controls, regulatory compliance, technology resiliency, risk and control governance and metrics, incident management, secure systems development lifecycle, vulnerability management, and data protection
  • Work closely with team members to drive progress and visibility on a wide range of projects and daily work
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
  • Collaborate with team members and managers, and continually look for ways to streamline, improve, and add value to existing business processes

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, Information Systems or other related area
  • Prior experience in Information Security role
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including user provisioning, role-based access control, authentication, and authorization processes to ensure secure and compliant access to systems and data
  • Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)
  • Experience with Service Now, DNA, Entitlement Manager, ID Cert, Brews, ID Anywhere and JADE
  • Experience with collaborative working tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
  • Proven capability to deliver timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders
  • Existing background in data related work environment preferred
  • Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and self-direction, working independently with minimal supervision and performing effectively under pressure
