The role is based in Mumbai and follows WHEM hours.

As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transfer of funds between various parties while enhancing our payment operations framework. You will leverage your knowledge of automation technologies and systems architecture to process payments across various products and parties. Your responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, making decisions guided by established practices, and contributing to short-term operational goals. You will engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and spur continuous improvement initiatives, building strong working relationships with internal lines of business. Your ability to understand and apply cybersecurity controls, anti-fraud strategies, and data analysis techniques will be key to your success in this role.

Job responsibilities
  • Manage cash payment and securities settlement and monitoring/approval functions that affect and control credit and intra-day exposure for a portfolio of clients, products, and currencies.
  • Apply sound operational principles to support process and to manage credit exposures/ decision approvals within respective approval authority & currency cut-offs
  • Monitor queues, as assigned, to ensure transactions are reviewed and referred to Credit/Client Services, where required, on a timely basis
  • Ideate on process improvements & efficiencies, and provide inputs on reducing manual intervention 
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working in Risk & Controls or Banking/Payment Operations
  • Expertise in Microsoft Applications (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and experience using SharePoint
  • Quick learner and strong interpersonal and team working skills
  • This role is based in Mumbai & is in the WHEM hours
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proven track record of multi-tasking in a time sensitive environment
  • Knowledge of AI/ML tools & their applications in business
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx, etc tools & how they can be used for automation to reduce manual intervention
