Senior privacy leadership role within Asset & Wealth Management responsible for shaping, implementing and operating the data privacy program. You will execute the 1st Line of Defence privacy model, advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives, manage privacy risk assessments, controls, audits and reporting. The role requires partnering with business and privacy teams, engaging stakeholders and committees, and delivering governance, metrics and transparency. You will also lead, mentor and develop a team of privacy professionals.

As a Data Privacy Vice President within the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) team, you will be part of a group dedicated to creating business impact through the governance and implementation of privacy requirements. Job Responsibilities
- Execute the 1st Line of Defence privacy operating model that adheres to firmwide requirements and applicable law.
- Lead and support programs to enhance AWM’s privacy program.
- Advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives.
- Ensure effective execution of privacy and data protection requirements, inclusive of privacy risk assessments, and management of procedures.
- Actively partner with the business and privacy teams to deliver required results.
- Engage in the appropriate committees and forums to provide transparency and collaborate with stakeholders on delivery of privacy initiatives.
- Assist the business with the design and execution of controls to address privacy business requirements and mitigate risks.
- Support the business preparing for privacy related exams, compliance tests and audits.
- Provide transparency through governance, reporting and metrics that support the privacy framework.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals in a way that promotes a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and supports their professional goals
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Experience building and managing privacy programs in regulated financial institutions
- Expertise in global privacy laws including GDPR.
- Experience in privacy program implementation and advising on privacy requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with varied stakeholder groups.
- Experience in influencing and implementing change in complex environments.
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in process and product design decisions with geographically dispersed teams.
- Strategic thinker that can anticipate and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior business leaders as well as technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation and influencing skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP.
