Job Description

  • JOB TITLE: User Access Management and Security Systems Administrator
  • SALARY: £29,460 rising to £30,202 from 1st APRIL 2026
  • LOCATION(S): Harbourside, Bristol
  • HOURS: Full time – 6 months Fixed Term Contract,  with the possibility to extend to 12 months
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this Opportunity

The core purpose of the role is to support the Group's Financial applications for UAM (User Access Management) activities which includes SOX & Risk reporting.

It's a phenomenal time to join the team as we transform the way we work. You'll play a key part in supporting the move from processing work manually via email onto workflow tools such as SNOW and JIRA. The role requires a good systems background and the ability to work under pressure both independently and as part of a team.

Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending a minimum of two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Bristol Harbourside office. To meet our service offering the teams core hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of business requirements for all UAM activities.
  • Build and maintain key relationships across the Group and the wider Finance Platform.
  • Effectively deliver risk and control activities including operating monthly controls to ensure SOX compliance and correct governance is maintained.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and System SMEs on wide variety of issues and system requirements.
  • Participate in team discussions to identify and deliver continuous improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • With support prioritise own development learning new skills and knowledge to increase team capability and capacity

What you’ll need

  • Attention to detail and organisational skills are key to this role and you must be able to prioritise tasks effectively and work through them meticulously to see through to completion.
  • The ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and effective manner with a wide variety of partners.
  • Good technical skills, including a good working knowledge of standard Microsoft suite of products. Advanced excel skills would be advantageous.
  • Experience of SNOW, JIRA or power apps would also be beneficial and should be drawn out in your application

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst using own initiative.
  • Flexible, resilient and able to prioritise work to meet commitments, respond to change and maintain focus.
