Role Overview

It contributes directly to safer, more reliable services across the enterprise by strengthening risk awareness, improving controls, and ensuring that governance practices remain aligned with regulatory and internal expectations.
Responsibilities
The position focuses on identifying technology operations risks through the analysis of systems, processes, and workflows. It performs structured risk assessments to determine potential impact and likelihood, followed by ongoing reviews to ensure that controls are functioning effectively.
It also supports the organisation’s risk governance approach by maintaining alignment with enterprise risk management standards, leading scheduled risk reviews, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
The role involves preparing clear reports, dashboards, and documentation that highlight emerging risks, trends, and recommended actions for senior stakeholders. Collaboration with IT, cybersecurity, and cross‑functional teams is central to ensuring timely mitigation and coordinated responses. Maintaining accurate records of assessments, mitigation activities, and compliance evidence is an essential part of the function.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings a background in information technology, information security, or a related discipline, supported by 8–10 years of experience in technology operations risk. A solid understanding of risk frameworks, assessment methodologies, and risk analysis tools is expected. Strong analytical thinking, sound judgement, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of teams are important to success in this role.
Professional certifications such as CRISC or CISA are considered beneficial.
