About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate, IAM to join our Identity & Access Management team. This role is critical in ensuring secure and efficient identity lifecycle management across the organization. You will manage, monitor, and report on identity processes, handle incidents, and collaborate closely with IAM Engineering and leadership teams to drive improvements, maintain compliance and alignment to standards and audit requirements.

Providing IAM process expertise to the IAM Delivery & Operations function, ensuring that IAM processes/controls are operated in line with agreed SLA’s, project timelines and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Providing IAM process expertise to the IAM Delivery & Operations function, ensuring that IAM processes/controls are operated in line with agreed SLA’s, project timelines and company standards.

  • Identity Lifecycle Management: Be responsible for and maintain user identity processes for employees, contractors, and third-party vendors. Operating the joiner, mover, leaver processes across the group using automated tooling. Ensuring that all workflows and upstream tooling are aggregated as expected, with checks
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve IAM-related incidents promptly, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Process Improvement: Find opportunities to streamline IAM workflows and implement protocols.
  • Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Analyze identity-related data to detect anomalies, solve issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborator Communication: Clearly articulate technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Experience of Audits: be able to articulate and evidence identity management , and ensure checks/reconciliation from upstream data to our IGA Tool.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with IAM Engineering, IAM Leads, and Management to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
  • Tool Expertise: Use SailPoint as the primary platform for identity governance, with additional knowledge of Varonis, Active directory, PowerShell, Workday, and contractor management tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow.
  • Solid understanding of identity lifecycle processes and IAM principles.
  • Experience with Active directory, Workday, and contractor onboarding/offboarding tools.
  • Demonstrable ability to analyse data, solve complex problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Good communication skills for engaging collaborators at all levels.
  • Ability to work multi-functionally in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Technical / job functional knowledge

  • 3- 4 year of experience in IAM/ information security roles or relevant education ie Computer Science degree, IAM technology or Information Security certification.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of information security principles and protocols.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of IAM principles and how they are embedded into core business processes.

Personal skills and capabilities

  • Must demonstrate an attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed to the required quality.
  • Takes ownership and commits to delivering sustainable outcomes and resolving problems.
  • Is structured and logical in planning and delivering activities.
  • Willingness and flexibility and to work across different technologies.
  • Capability to quickly assimilate new concepts and technologies.
  • Takes ownership of own career development and learning.
  • Must take ownership of tasks to ensure completion.
  • Must possess clear oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to ensure consistent application of process even when dealing with more senior colleagues.
  • Must have ability to successfully work as a part of a globally disparate team as well as work independently.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a degree in IT or Cyber Security
  • Relevant certification on Cyber Security
  • Experience in IAM operations within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards.
  • Knowledge of automation and process optimization in IAM.
