Join Macquarie's Banking and Financial Services Security and Fraud Prevention team as a Security Architect to collaborate with internal and external teams to provide security advice and define security architectures for business initiatives and projects. You'll partner with technical delivery teams to work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration and automation tools, and help drive the secure evolution of the organisation. The role requires 10+ years in technical design and architecture and 7+ years of security experience in large enterprises, with familiarity across SABSA, NIST 800-53, Open FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, and public cloud experience.

- 10+ years’ experience in technical design and architecture roles and 7+ years security experience in large enterprises
- Current or previous experience in configuring, operating, designing and architecting security solutions for business and technology initiatives
- Familiarity and experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/design
- Familiarity with SABSA, NIST 800-53, Open FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, threat modelling and related methodologies or frameworks
- Demonstrable experience working with public cloud (AWS and/or GCP), containers, Kubernetes and related technologies
- Experience with security engineering, API security, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automation, and application development valuable
- Familiarity working within an Agile environment
- Sound understanding of vendor technologies and roadmaps, and remains current with key IT industry themes and emerging trends.
