The VP-Level Data Risk & Privacy Manager is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and operation of the Natixis CIB Americas Data Risk Management and Privacy Program. This role will work closely with the Information Security, Legal, and Compliance functions to establish data management, data protection, and privacy practices that comply with regulatory and legal requirements.

Essential duties and responsibilities

The VP-Level Data Risk & Privacy Manager will implement the Data Risk Management and Privacy Program. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Setting standards and reviewing policies and procedures that meet the requirements of local regulations across all countries of operation.
• Analyzing business processes and requirements to ensure alignment with all Data Risk Management and Privacy policies and procedures.
• Continuously monitoring changes to local laws and regulations.
• Conducting independent assessments on the accuracy, completeness, and adequacy of the firm’s data management and privacy operations.
• Participating in data management and privacy risk tracking, trending, analysis, and reporting.
• Developing and delivering privacy training to various business functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or Risk Management (or equivalent professional qualification).

• 5-7 years of experience specifically related to Privacy and/or Data Risk Management.

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of data privacy and data protection regulations, as well as major privacy frameworks.

• Experience with GRC tools and other risk management information systems is preferred.

• Proven track record in managing and enhancing control processes.

• Experience in developing and implementing risk management programs.

• Experience interacting with regulators, preferably the FRB, NYDFS, CFTC, FINRA, SEC, etc.

• Industry-recognized certifications for Data Protection and/or Privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPT, ISEB, etc.) are considered a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.

• Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with and work alongside employees at all levels, including other geographical platforms.

• Ability to effectively handle a fast-paced environment while successfully meeting established deadlines.

The salary range for this Vice President position will be between $160,000 - $185,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance
