What’s the role

Access Management (AM) is part of the ET (Enterprise Technology). Access Management team manages the access provisioning to Shell’s business critical applications compliant with internal and external control requirements. The activities in consist of Access Request Management, Control Operations, Profile Maintenance and Development and Access Security Design and Architecture.

Technical Analyst is responsible for providing technical support for Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) tools, including CyberArk. This role involves delivering second-level support, performing Design, implement privileged Access Management solutions Additionally, the analyst will Implement, and drive change management activities, address security vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with organizational standards

What you’ll be doing

  • Design, implement, and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (CyberArk), ensuring secure and compliant management of privileged accounts across the enterprise.
  • Administer CyberArk components, including PSM, SCA, CPM, CCP, DPA, Secrets Hub, and SIA.
  • Onboard privileged accounts across platforms (AD, Unix, Windows, Databases), including safe creation, platform setup, and master policy configuration.
  • Integrate PAM with enterprise systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop scripts for privileged access reporting and generate compliance reports.
  • Support audit and compliance activities through reporting and analysis.
  • Resolve PAM-related incidents/problems and coordinate with vendors or support teams to ensure timely resolution per SLA.
  • Ensure IAM platform changes and upgrades comply with change management and do not impact deployed services.
  • Execute system/software upgrades on IAM platforms.
  • Manage and enforce access controls to comply with IRM guidelines and define accountability for IT staff.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure service quality.
  • Drive process transformation and continuous improvement to simplify and standardize role management design and practices.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology or related degree with minimum 5 years overall work experience
  • IAM Expertise: Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), User Access Management, provisioning processes, Segregation of Duties (SoD), access controls, and certifications (e.g., CyberArk, Saviynt, SailPoint, IDM tools).
  • Privileged Access Management: Hands-on experience with CyberArk and privileged account lifecycle management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of IAM principles and CyberArk product suite, including adoption of new features.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies.
  • Process & Automation: Experience in technical documentation, onboarding workflows, and building automation pipelines.
  • Ability to work with teams from diverse cultures and in different time zones in a global, virtual environment.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills. Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
  • Good customer liaison skills across all organization levels
