Zscaler seeks a Regional Director to lead the Data Security go-to-market efforts in a US-based region. You will recruit and develop a high-performing sales team, create strategic plans and forecasts, align with regional leaders and cross-functional teams, and drive revenue growth within a matrix organization. The role requires extensive enterprise sales leadership, formulation of revenue plans, and close collaboration with Product and Marketing to accelerate cloud security transformations.

We’re looking for a seasoned Regional Director to join our Sales and Go-to-Market team. This is a US based role, reporting to the Global Vice President-Data Security. The Zscaler Sales and Go-to-Market team is a global group of professionals who are passionate about delighting our customers, nurturing trusted partnerships, and sharing their expertise to drive a secure, cloud-enabled digital future. You will lead a high-performing team to demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Recruit, hire, and develop world-class specialist sales talent while building development plans to coach and motivate the team to overachieve on targets
- Act as the GM of your business to create a strategic plan for success and provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts
- Align with regional sales leadership, field sales, marketing, and partners to prioritize focused revenue attainment within a matrixed organization
- Engage with Product Management, Product Marketing, Services, and other cross-functional teams to drive continuous performance improvement

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 10+ years of full-cycle sales experience within the software or security industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Progressive selling experience engaging with enterprise accounts and selling at the C-Level
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing a high-performing team
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Proven experience leading a product specialist sales team or prior experience as a product sales specialist in a matrix environment
- Recent experience in the Data Security industry with a passionate point of view to share with customers and partners
- Proficiency in data-driven territory management to guide strategic business decisions

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
