Role
We are looking for a Senior Information System Engineer to join our IT Digital Employee Experience team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Manager, End User Engineering. The Senior System Engineer designs, engineers, and operationalizes Zscaler’s global end-user computing environment—spanning Windows/macOS, BYOD, and mobile (iOS & Android). This role focuses on modern endpoint management, security posture, digital experience, automation, and endpoint architecture documentation to deliver secure, cloud-first workspaces aligned with Zero Trust principles. You will collaborate with IT, Security, Platform Engineering, and Support, serve as a senior escalation point, and lead End User Engineering platform initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, a pragmatic problem-solving approach, a go-getter mindset, and the flexibility to switch between escalations and project work to support business continuity.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Engineer, deploy, configure, and maintain corporate-managed endpoints (Windows/macOS/BYOD/Mobile (iOS/Android)) aligned to Zscaler security baselines and enterprise standards
- Lead endpoint vulnerability management workflows using platforms such as CrowdStrike and Zscaler UVM (Avalor); triage, prioritize, and drive remediation in partnership with IT/Security
- Partner with Digital Experience/Workspace teams to monitor and improve device performance and user experience using tools like Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) and/or Omnissa
- Designing and Delivering API integrations (REST/GraphQL), automating endpoint workflows, and integrating EUC platforms (e.g., Workspace One ,Intune/Autopilot, Jamf) with ITSM,Security and identity systems
- Document and maintain end-to-end endpoint architecture across Windows/macOS/BYOD/Mobile, including enrollment/provisioning, identity integration, policy hierarchy, configuration baselines, application delivery, patching rings, and security controls

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 6+ years experience in enterprise EUC/endpoint engineering, endpoint management, or desktop engineering (cloud/digital-first environments preferred)
- Strong experience managing and securing Windows and macOS endpoints at scale using tools such as Intune/MEM, Jamf, Automox, Workspace ONE (Omnissa), CrowdStrike, and ServiceNow
- Proven experience with vulnerability management, patching strategy, compliance reporting, and remediation execution across a global fleet
- Strong troubleshooting across endpoint security controls, application compatibility, performance, and hardware/software (network stack, browsers, productivity/collaboration suites)
- Working knowledge of Zero Trust concepts and endpoint security integrations
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, ShellScript, Python, or equivalent); experience building repeatable automation and self-service remediation
- Experience with DEX/observability tooling (e.g., ZDX, Omnissa, Nexthink, ControlUp, or similar)
- Incident management experience with clear escalation, communications, and post-incident remediation practices
