You lead teams with clarity, structure, and a solutions-oriented mindset, staying ahead of emerging data and AI capabilities to drive continuous innovation.

Job Description Overview

As a Data Modernization / Microsoft Fabric Architect Manager, you will lead the transformation of client data estates onto modern Microsoft data platforms, with a particular focus on Microsoft Fabric (including Data Factory within Fabric), Snowflake, and Databricks. You are a seasoned practitioner in Medallion architectures, adept at architecting and delivering unified, governed data platforms in multi-ecosystem environments. Your expertise spans data engineering, analytics, and platform domains, ensuring that solutions are both robust and future-ready.

The Work:

  • Design and implement end-to-end data architectures leveraging Microsoft Fabric components—OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Engineering, Data Factory, and Power BI—with a strong emphasis on Medallion architectural patterns.

  • Lead the modernization of legacy data platforms (e.g., SQL Server, SSIS, Snowflake, Tableau) into unified, cloud-scale architectures across Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Databricks.

  • Develop value cases, modernization roadmaps, and reference architectures aligned to client business priorities, ensuring technical excellence across data engineering and data management.

  • Define governance models, security frameworks, and compliant data management patterns for scalable data estates in multi-cloud environments.

  • Collaborate with AI architects to enable AI-ready data foundations supporting GenAI and intelligent agent scenarios.

  • Oversee technical delivery teams, ensuring architecture quality, performance, and reliability across data engineering, analytics, and platform operations.

  • Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting new Microsoft Fabric and Databricks capabilities, developing reusable accelerators, and leveraging Fabric’s Copilot features to streamline engineering and analytical workflows.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 75% depending on business need and client requirements.
