The Role Support the Director in executing AMD's data center power and partnership strategy, owning key diligence, evaluation, and coordination workstreams across the deal lifecycle. This role focuses on rigorous analysis, cross-functional alignment, and strategic decision support to advance high-quality opportunities for GPU deployment. Key Responsibilities Lead comprehensive due diligence and feasibility assessments (technical, financial, regulatory, site readiness) for prospective sites and partners. Run gated decision processes (e.g., ROFR evaluation, Site Go/No-Go scoring, definitive terms review), including weighted criteria, risk matrices, and executive readouts. Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis (OPEX/CAPEX trade-offs, power economics, AMD financial obligations) to inform negotiations and commitments. Maintain and analyze opportunity tracking (dashboards, velocity reports, disposition of No-Gos) to drive pipeline health and lessons learned. Coordinate inputs from the Data Center Business Unit, Finance, Legal, Corporate Strategy, and external partners; prepare materials for exec reviews and deal progression. Support negotiation and closing activities, including term sheet refinement and multi-party agreement structuring. Monitor Readiness-phase status updates from landlords/neoclouds to flag risks to GPU timelines. Preferred Experience Strategy, business development, infrastructure deals, or related fields (data center power/site acquisition, energy strategy, real estate/infra PE, or hyperscale BD ideal). Hands-on experience with power feasibility studies, utility assessments, or colocation/neocloud partnerships. Advanced Excel/Power BI modeling skills; comfort with financial pro-formas and risk evaluation frameworks. Strong project management and cross-functional coordination; ability to drive gated processes and executive presentations. Prior roles at DC operators, utilities, hyperscalers, or consulting/IB firms with tech/infra exposure. Academic Credentials: Bachelor's required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
