Help Allianz Benelux make smarter, faster pricing decisions across our P&C portfolio.

You will turn complex data into actionable pricing insights, automate reporting and data pipelines, and monitor the business impact of pricing actions to drive sustainable profitability and competitive growth.

 

What You Will Do Data analysis and insight generation

 

  • Analyze Data Warehouse and internal sources to support pricing and underwriting.
  • Build clear dashboards, visualizations, and reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues; ensure reliable analytical outputs.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for Pricing, Underwriting, and Product.

 

Automation of reporting and data pipelines

 

  • Maintain and automate recurring reporting for local management and Group HQ.
  • Design robust ETL/data pipelines to ensure accurate, timely production of reports.
  • Implement automation using SQL and Python or R with BI tools.
  • Document, version, and monitor automated processes to ensure continuity and reliability.

 

Portfolio monitoring and pricing impact analysis

 

  • Track portfolio performance after pricing actions or market changes.
  • Develop indicators and frameworks for loss ratio, frequency, severity, retention, conversion.
  • Explain portfolio shifts and recommend corrective actions or pricing adjustments.
  • Support strategic initiatives by comparing expected versus observed outcomes.

 

Must-Have Skills and Experience

 

  • Hands-on P&C (non-life) pricing experience, including GLM modeling, segmentation, elasticity.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R for analysis and automation.
  • Experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
  • Ability to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eligible to work in Belgium; professional fluency in English.

 

Nice-to-Have

 

  • Academic background in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance.
  • Experience in a P&C pricing, actuarial, or data role within an insurer or broker.
  • Familiarity with Group reporting requirements and KPI definitions.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS), data governance, version control.
  • Exposure to MLOps-lite practices, model monitoring, and explainable/responsible analytics.
