Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and regional partners.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a technical leadership role, guiding project direction and mentoring other engineers.
- Experience with software development in C++ or Python, and with large-scale distributed systems or infrastructure.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of concurrent engineering projects.
- Experience with storage technologies.

Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the technical roadmap for the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) storage client portfolio. Work with customers and product leaders to understand AI/ML workloads, and plan the storage solution that provides the quality performance, and user experience, then recommend and implement that solution.
- Lead the architecture of integrated storage solutions. Own the analysis of performance bottlenecks.
- Act as the architectural bridge between the Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Lustre, and other core engineering. Align technical roadmaps and ensure an engineering direction.
- Mentor executive engineers across the organization and elevate the technical bar for the entire storage group through design leadership.
- Work with stakeholders and key customers to understand the tests and requirements of the AI/ML users.
