GCOI is seeking an experienced BIE to design, develop and maintain scalable data systems, dashboards, and automated reports that support analytics and business decisions. The role will leverage internal Amazon data services and AWS, focusing on data extraction, ETL, data modeling, and data quality. Based in Hyderabad, you will collaborate with operations, product/program, and tech teams across the US and India to deliver bespoke data solutions that impact top and bottom lines. The position requires strong SQL, data visualization, and cross-geography stakeholder management.
The position is based in Hyderabad, but will interact daily with leaders in NA and IN.
We seek a quick-learner who can quickly familiarize themselves with a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership for a broad array of domains. Key job responsibilities
• Explore and develop expertise with internal Amazon data services and AWS products.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical and business needs.
• Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions. Analyze and validate data to maintain high data quality bar.
• Own advanced data extraction and basic data engineering needs for your customers.
• Own the maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, and other artifacts used to drive key business decisions.
• Create high quality documentation for your customers and team members.
• Work with team members and business customers to gather requirements.
About the team
Grocery Catalog Operations and Intel (GCOI) supports Amazon’s Grocery Catalog through New Item Setup, Audits & Edits, SOP management, Data management, Process Automation, etc.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent
- Experience with managing cross-geography stakeholders and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
