Amazon's Grocery Catalog Ops and Intel (GCOI) team is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to design and deliver scalable data solutions. The role involves building automated dashboards, ETL pipelines, and data models to support decision-making across US Grocery operations. Based in Hyderabad with daily interaction with NA and IN leaders, you will own data extraction, maintain metrics, and document solutions for cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Redshift/Oracle/NoSQL, Tableau/Quicksight, and SQL, and can thrive in a fast-paced, cross-geography environment.
The position is based in Hyderabad, but will interact daily with leaders in NA and IN.
We seek a quick-learner who can quickly familiarize themselves with a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership for a broad array of domains. Key job responsibilities
• Explore and develop expertise with internal Amazon data services and AWS products.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical and business needs.
• Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions. Analyze and validate data to maintain high data quality bar.
• Own advanced data extraction and basic data engineering needs for your customers.
• Own the maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, and other artifacts used to drive key business decisions.
• Create high quality documentation for your customers and team members.
• Work with team members and business customers to gather requirements.
About the team
Grocery Catalog Operations and Intel (GCOI) supports Amazon’s Grocery Catalog through New Item Setup, Audits & Edits, SOP management, Data management, Process Automation, etc.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent
- Experience with managing cross-geography stakeholders and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
