Leads a team of Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and BI Engineers to develop and maintain high-quality data infrastructures, dashboards, and reports for the Advertising Trust. Partners with AT Science, Tech, and Operations to identify priorities, drive data quality, and deliver impactful BI solutions. Fosters operational excellence, mentorship, and resource planning while communicating BI priorities to stakeholders.

The Advertising Trust(AT) Data team is the single source of truth for all data related to the moderation of ads across Amazon.

This role leads a team of Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Business Intelligence Engineers to help solve problems faced by our customers and provide deep insights in to our data.

Key job responsibilities
· Manage and develop BI team responsible for developing and maintaining high quality data infrastructures, dashboards, and reports

· Collaborate closely with peers in the AT Science, Tech, and Operations teams to identify priorities and implement solutions

· Drive a culture of operational excellence, data quality, and continuous improvement

· Create and manage mechanisms to ensure BI team resources are devoted to solving the most impactful customer needs

· Continually leverage the latest tools and technologies to maximize the teams impact and efficiency

· Grow your team's capabilities through mentorship, training, and career development opportunities

· Provide clear guidance and updates to partners regarding BI team priorities

A day in the life
This role will work regularly with your peers in the Science, Tech, and Operations teams to deeply understand the problems they are facing and identify where there are systemic issues to be solved with ongoing BI solutions.

You will help the team prioritize their body of work based on the most impactful work for the AT organization overall and communicate these priorities to your onsite peers across the organization.

You'll be expected to provide facilitate support for emergent issues as they come up and ensure prompt responses to leadership.

Leveraging AI, we build systemic solutions that ensure advertising adherence to the complex regulatory, legal, regional, cultural and customer expectations in over 30 countries.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
