Position Responsibilities:

Results-oriented, inventive data center engineer that drives development, implementation and delivery of enterprise data centers strategies through the use of collocation facilities and infrastructure builds, which meet strict quality and performance levels across the globe. Lead engineering due diligence efforts for new and expanding regions, which maintain the highest performance standards and utilize innovation to reduce budgets and increase efficiency. Strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. Provide creative engineering balanced with high quality and customer focus. Work as part of a team to accomplish our goals. Perform technical design engineering diligence for global regions. Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Understand the best practices for service-oriented product delivery. Have extensive experience within the arena of domestic and international data center delivery. Work with product teams on infrastructure roll-out plans in support of new products. Perform PUE analysis, Cooling solution analysis and evaluate long lead equipment for the proposed build design. Review of colocation assessment for new regions. Support the power and water teams with engineering analysis and work with utilities to understand HV/MV substation design and impacts to assess risk and impacts on our builds. Manage/review site test-fits and site plans. Provide engineering design decisions to the planning team for strategic planning and region selection. Work with internal teams to understand design requirements and solicit internal customer input. Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions. Escalate issues as required and communicate clearly and effectively at the appropriate level of detail with people from a wide range of technical abilities and backgrounds. Interact with technical design teams, commercial power and water teams, business strategy, planning and finance teams. Interact with Senior management, Directors and VP's.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental) or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have two years of experience in the following skills: (1) experience with industrial design, commercial design, or experience directly related to data center infrastructure and data center planning; (2) Proficient in related civil design software such as Civil 3D or equivalent software. Up to 25% domestic & international travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.
