Support inventory planning for Amazon's Leo OISL program by using ERP systems and SAP (S4/Hana) to manage inventory and troubleshoot material issues. Responsibilities include documenting system issues, coordinating with quality control, purchasing and other departments, and helping balance shortages for kit availability and floor stock replenishment. Focus on data quality and continuous improvements to material availability, delivering data-driven reviews to management and enhancing the customer experience.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Key job responsibilities
- Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete inventory management tasks
- Troubleshoot inventory and material related issues using ERP systems
- Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies
- Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems
- Assist in managing shortages for clear to kit availability and floor stock replenishment
- Continuous improvement to streamline and improve results of material availability
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Exhibit a constant passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Prepare and provide data driven reviews to management

A day in the life
The Leo team is looking for inventory planners to facilitate inventory management, troubleshoot real-time material issues using ERP systems, and collaborate and assist in process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience in SAP (S4/Hana) and MES systems, has an understanding of business acumen and judgment, analytical abilities, written, verbal communication skills and awareness to various cross-functional organization inter-dependencies.

Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications
- 1+ year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of and experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Comfortable with ambiguity and curious to learn new skills
- Curious to learn in depth about both technology and our customers
- A self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
