Lead the strategic implementation, architecture design, and enterprise-wide adoption of Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) across multiple business units. Serve as a technical authority and strategic advisor to align governance initiatives with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation efforts. Develop the metadata management roadmap, drive cross-functional adoption of standards, and architect complex integrations, automated workflows for AI governance, data quality, and lineage. Establish governance metrics/KPIs, communicate business value to executives, and mentor junior team members to improve data discovery, quality, and compliance.

The RCS Sr Data Governance Manager will will lead the strategic implementation, architecture design, and enterprise-wide adoption of the Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) environment. This role drives the organization's data governance vision by architecting scalable solutions that enhance data discovery, quality, and compliance across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will serve as both a technical authority and strategic advisor, balancing immediate platform needs with long-term governance objectives.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into technical solutions while driving organizational change. The successful candidate will balance technical expertise with leadership skills to deliver measurable improvements in how the organization manages and governs its data assets.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement the enterprise data governance architecture that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Develop the strategic roadmap for metadata management capabilities, including integration with other enterprise systems and data platforms
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive adoption of governance standards and catalog capabilities across the organization
- Establish governance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and business impact of the data catalog implementation
- Partner with senior leadership to align data governance initiatives with broader digital transformation efforts
- Mentor and guide junior team members on governance best practices and technical implementation approaches
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the organization's data governance capabilities
- Architect complex integrations between the CDGC platform and enterprise data sources
- Design automated workflows for AI governance, metadata harvesting, data quality assessment, and lineage tracking across the data ecosystem
- Develop governance frameworks that balance security requirements with accessibility needs
- Lead troubleshooting of complex platform issues that impact multiple business units or critical data assets
- Create custom solutions to extend platform capabilities when standard features don't meet business requirements
- Drive data-driven decision making by improving data discovery and understanding across the organization
- Reduce regulatory compliance risks through implementation of comprehensive governance controls and audit capabilities
- Enhance data quality through automated profiling, monitoring, and remediation workflows
- Accelerate analytics initiatives by providing trusted, well-documented data assets through the catalog
- Quantify and communicate the business value of governance initiatives to executive stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or other related discipline
- Knowledge of metadata creation, management & remediation best practices
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in technical support and experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams
- Experience managing large amounts of data
- 6+ years of direct experience working with the Informatica platform, preferably with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) or Data Quality (CDQ).
- Working knowledge of SQL and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to data governance frameworks and concepts.
